Additional Math Problems

For the pupils who attended the Extra Lesson today, here are the 3 Math problems (inclusive of the one I explained to you in class) i would like you to work on before I see you on Monday.

1.1) 265 children took part in an art competition. 1/2 of the girls and 3/7 of the boys wore watches. Altogether, there were 122 children wearing watches. How many boys wore watches on that day?

1.2) 170 children went for Math Trail. 1/3 of the girls and 2/7 of the boys brought calculators. Altogether, there were 50 children who brought calculators. How many boys brought calculators that day?

1.3) 281 adults went to a museum. 1/4 of the men and 3/13 of the women wore slippers and were denied entry. Altogether 66 adults were denied entry to the museum (because they wore slippers). How many women did not wear slippers?

Time: 1pm - 3pm
